Sometimes less is more.
This isn’t one of those times.
Marjametsä is one of those pieces where stopping after the first berry, flower or leaf just didn’t feel right. Once we headed into the forest, we decided to go all the way.
It has colour, detail and movement – and just the right amount of a little too much. At least if you ask a minimalist.
And even though the finished piece looks like half the forest came along for the ride, perhaps that’s exactly the point of Marjametsä. Why choose just one when you can take the whole forest with you?
